Choosing the Most Suitable Islands
Currently, there are approximately 173 hotels built across the Maldives archipelago. This number continues to grow as more of the world’s top hotel brands enter the Maldivian market. It’s not a small number, which can make choosing quickly quite overwhelming.
How to choose the perfect hotel or island (resort) for you?
In our hotel catalog, we have highlighted the best choices from our perspective according to the specified categories. However, we also work with many other Maldives hotels. To help you select the perfect fit, we invite you to consider the important points outlined below.
Our years of accumulated experience, carefully refined and reliable contacts, and trusted partners allow us to professionally and personally tailor the perfect option for each guest.
- Preferred budget
It’s important to have a rough idea of your budget range, as the Maldives is one of the most exclusive—and also most expensive—travel destinations in the world. First and foremost, it’s a true paradise. Secondly, prices are influenced by the fact that almost everything is imported from other countries, from building materials to food. Naturally, costs also depend on the level of the hotel and the global reputation of the hotel brand. - Activities
Some islands can be explored in just 15 minutes, including several of the most exclusive ones—ideal for a relaxed, peaceful retreat in harmony with nature. At the same time, there are larger islands with more villas, where you’ll find more people and plenty of activities. Even during a 10-night stay, you might not have time to experience everything on offer. It’s important to consider your priorities—for example, if the underwater world is a key focus for you. Not every island boasts a vibrant “house reef” for easy snorkeling and diving right off the shore, or a lagoon offering excursions to swim alongside majestic manta rays and sharks. - Accommodation style and who you’re traveling with
The Maldives also offers “Adults Only” hotels exclusively for grown-ups. Likewise, there are resorts more suited for families with children, often featuring “kids clubs.” Each concept is thoughtfully designed to cater to its specific target audience. - Dining options
All Inclusive (AI) is undoubtedly a convenient concept for any traveler, but there are nuances to consider. Some hotels offer options like BB (Bed & Breakfast), HB (Half Board), or FB (Full Board), with the possibility to add a “Beverage Package” to ease extra expenses at the end of your stay—since even a glass of water in the Maldives can come at a cost. There are also islands that operate exclusively on a “Premium All Inclusive” basis.
What we quite categorically do not recommend is booking only BB (bed and breakfast). - Type of villa
Beach, Lagoon, Water, and other villa categories: For example, with small children who have just started walking, a water villa might not be the most suitable choice. While many associate the Maldives with beautiful overwater villas, whether this is the best option depends greatly on individual preferences. - Special offers & availability
When sending a detailed offer, we take into account the most advantageous special offers, discounts that are not available on public system websites, as well as booking.com.It should be emphasized that – the earlier the reservation is made, the more favorable the price (discounts). There are many more nuances that should be taken into account. That is why we believe and know that the tandem – Your wishes + Our experience, will allow us to find together the most suitable for the realization of Your Dream vacation.
