Seasonality

From a geographical point of view, the Maldives' favorable location on the globe, located near the equator, ensures a uniform air temperature of around 27 - 30 degrees Celsius
throughout the year. However, on the other hand, the islands are very "sensitive", as they are located relatively low above sea level, are completely flat, there are no mountains around, which, in turn, can contribute to a change in weather conditions in an instant.

Climate

The climate is pleasant and warm year-round, with water temperatures never dropping below 26°C. The Maldives experiences two distinct seasons:

“Dry season” — December to April
“Wet season” — May to November

It’s also important to note that weather conditions can vary significantly between different atolls at the same time. Rain showers are usually brief. However, prices tend to differ considerably during the dry season, classified as the “high season,” compared to the wet season.

Our recommendation is not to focus solely on the “dry season,” but rather to choose vacation dates that suit you best, based on your plans and the special offers available to us.
